This role will see you plan and deliver lessons effectively, identifying individual learning objectives to ensure that pupils are stretched to meet their full potential.

Job Type:      Primary Teacher – Cover Supervisor
Location:;      Swanley
Salary:          £80-£100 per day

Job Description    

If you have experience working as a Day Supply Teacher or Cover Supervisor, we want to hear from you!
We are working with a Primary School in Swanley who are looking for ongoing Day Supply staff to cover ad-hoc and long term bookings.
Applicants looking for permanent, contract or temporary roles will be considered as will candidates looking for the flexibility of daily supply work.
A cover supervisor is a classroom based role, supporting a qualified teacher or covering for a qualified teacher in their absence. You will not need any subject specialism although if you have it will be a benefit. 
You will offer support across all areas of the curriculum and with age groups up to Year 6. You will deliver pre-planned lesson material and supervise behaviour during class whilst ensuring that a safe and inclusive learning environment is maintained.
You will not be expected to plan, prepare, mark or assess work. For those candidates with a passion for working with children but without the qualifications this can be an ideal role. 

In order to succeed in this role you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Ability to work with groups of students of primary age
  • Strong behaviour management
  • Ability to follow policies including behaviour management and rewards
  • Flexibility in approach to classroom delivery and learning material
  • Willingness to embrace new technologies in the classroom
